Plugin produces duplicate entries since version 1.4.4

    We use this plugin on a couple of sites. On all of them, we are facing an issue with the latest version 1.4.4.

    Problem
    When completing a gravity form, the pods entry is published / saved twice. So this creates a duplicate / double entry each time the form is submitted. We also tried to set the publish type under “advanced” to “draft”. But this also produces two drafts of the entry.

    Steps to reproduce

    1. installed a clean WordPress 5.8.2
    2. install all three plugins
    3. create a pods custom content type
    4. create a new gravity forms form
    5. create a pods connection via form settings –> pods feed
    6. fill out the newly created form
    7. tada: view the duplicate entry ??

    Used versions (bug confirmed on all combinations)

    • WordPress 5.8.2 (latest production)
    • Pods 2.7.31 and 2.8.5 (latest production)
    • Gravity Forms Pro 2.5.15 (latest production)
    • Pods Gravity Forms Add-On 1.4.4
    • PHP 7.4 and 8.0

    Temporary Solution
    Switch back to version 1.4.3 of this plugin.
