Plugin problem with credit card payment

    Good day,

    I’ve had a problem for months: I’d like to offer payment by credit card (Stripe) in addition to paying by invoice. The connection to Stripe works, live tests are okay. But now the following problem:
    When paying with activated Woocommerce Payments I get the following error message in my checkout page:
    stripe.confirmSetup(): the confirmParams.return_url argument is required unless passing redirect: 'if_required'

    If I don’t use Woocommerce Payments but the native Stripe card payment in Woocommerce (this plugin), then no error message appears but the later debit/account debit is not displayed. Something doesn’t seem to be working here.

    We tested the following as a third variant:
    – WooCommerce Payments enabled in test mode
    – Germanized disabled (plugin)
    – Checkout tested and clicked on the buy button without making any entries

    The result is the following JS error:

    Hello @crusader445,

    Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Also, have you tried disabling the experimental mode feature in the plugin’s settings?

    Since you’ve mentioned wanting to use the Stripe plugin as the payment gateway, I will advise you do the following.

    – Completely disable the following plugins from the “Plugins” tab in the admin dashboard:

    – Switch to the Storefront theme as your current theme has some outdated templates.

    I understand you’ve already tried disabling the plugins above, but we’ll need to take them out of the equation for now as we keep trying to troubleshoot the problem. ??

    If you’re not comfortable doing all of this on the live version of your site, you can create a staging environment using WP-STAGING.

    Let us know if you’re still seeing the error with the native Stripe plugin when trying to order something.
