  • So your wordpress files aren’t in the root directory of you server. I was under the impression that you had moved to a new host or something. Sorry that was my fault. If you have access to the file structure of the server go to the wp-content folder and delete a folder called cache. If that still doesn’t get it back try this where the siteurl would be https://www.rustedrobot.com/wordpress and the home field would be just https://www.rustedrobot.com

you can login to you blog with this address https://rustedrobot.com/wordpress/wp-login

It’s not working. I can login using that address, yes. However, it’s completely text and no graphics. Also, whenever I click options, it goes to an error/404 page

what I mean is this: I can login using that URL, but I can’t even get to the options page to make any changes because it keeps 404’ing me

I’ve solved all the access and design problems. But I still have the plugin problems – despite my putting them into the content/plugins folder, they do not appear in my plugins list. I’d still really like to solve this problem since plugins are one of the most advantageous parts of using WordPress. Can anyone help? Thanks!

resolved – i changed permalinks back to the default setting.

Sorry to bring the bad news but I’ve checked in Opera and FF and could se only a blank page at your domain.

As for the two non-working plugins: did you try to delete them and upload them again? Are they compatible with the WP version you are using?

OK, the site is back… we were posting in the same time ??

plugin problem resolved – it was a folder structure issue.

hmmm, what I suggested in the first post? Or what was later suggested about your whole site folder structure? Just curious. Glad things worked out for you.
