• Hi guys, awesome plugin. I’d like to tweak it slightly but not sure if it’s possible. I’m fine with Authors & Contributors talking to each other and sending out announcements, however I want to completely remove this functionality for subscribers and below. The subscribers would not have the messages tab, but more importantly the recipient list only includes contributors and higher privileges, to prevent authors accidentally talking to the userbase. Is this possible?

  • Hey rlntls,

I agree and would like to take it one step further.

I’d like for each account (user) to have the option to elect who is allowed to send him or her a message, whether by group or individually.

In this regard, the option should default to “no one is allowed to send me a message”.

Of course admin should have the ability to send to anyone.

    Hi,
I have WP 3.5.1 with multisite installed. A admin or super admin can send messages to everyone and everyone can receive messages from admin/SuperAdmin.

The problem is that non-admin users cannot send messages to admin or superadmin (they do not appear on recipient list).

the get_users function in “inc/send-page.php ” is not limiting the user list. How can I make it so that all users can send messages to admins?

    Thanks,
    Sofia
