This could happen if the homepage is using the page “hook”.

What happens if you select “Posts”? The other option is manual placement (I can send instructions if needed).

a reasonable one-time donation is usually my preference

therefore I appreciate being able to use the plugin,

however, unless something changes in the meantime, once one becomes available without adwords with decent functionality I will select that one. As for the price you offer (recurring), I could pay a css programmer once to do that for me… as this is just a “giving back” to the community site for me.
