The solution may be incredibly simple.

I am running an intranet for my company, and want to have a printer-friendly option so that our employees can print pages for customers. Click the Print Friendly button on a page and tell it to print -> the page prints blank with only the header at top and url at bottom. Also, click the Print Friendly button and tell it to PDF -> the content is there but the pictures do not transfer, only their size and location.

Is this simply because it is on a local intranet and the information is processed remotely (thus by a computer without access to my network?).

I think that is it, but just want to get some other opinions. Thanks!

Yup, you got it. PDF’s need to physically generate on our server.

    Couple of ways around this.

    1) Create an exception for our server fe1.printfriendly.com (46.4.67.19)
    2) Make the image directory publicly accessible

Thanks a bunch, printfriendly! For now that won’t be doable, because the person in charge of that policy won’t allow a change…. the day may come. ??

Other than that, great job on the plugin. It looks good, it’s simple, and it gets the job done.
