Plugin postmetadata link

Hi,

I’m trying to make a plugin that adds a link to the postmetadata section of the posts. This section is where the links after each post are, for example the link to the category of the post, or the link to add comments. I looked into the WP-Email plugin that does this, but it requires the user to edit the theme and add the link manually. Isn’t it possible that the plugin does this automatically by using a hook? Thanks in advance.
