  • Hi

    I just had the same problem and the fix was REALLY easy..

    I had an empty line at the end of the functions.php… apparently the very last line generates an HTML output (empty) which messes up wordpress cropping somehow..

    I had

    ?>
    ==EMPTY LINE==

    I removed ==EMPTY LINE== and all worked fine…

    Congrats to sewpafly for the cool plugin..

    Hello,

    I have exactly the same problem, but no empty lines in functions.php…

    And the problem is still here with another theme (twenty eleven).

    Any idea ?

    Thanks a lot.

    @mediacleg, the empty line could be in any of your enabled plugins php code, or even in any of your theme php files. What happens when you disable all plugins and use the default theme?

    Hello, same thing, even with every extensions disabled and twenty eleven for active theme…

    Does the same thing happen to you when you load the image in the wordpress image editor?

    Yes, exactly the same thing, no image appears

    Do you get the same behavior with every browser (IE, firefox, chrome)? If so, I would post the issue on the general wordpress site and see if one of the core devs might have a fix or other method to debug this issue. I did a quick google search and didn’t find anything that seemed to match this issue.

    The only other thing that I can think of is that one of the wordpress php pages is putting the extra line in somehow. (maybe because a switch from dos/unix filetype). I might be able to help you track this down. Can you find the URL that the image editor is trying to load? What happens when you put this URL into the address bar?

    I’d be interested in any solution you can find.

    Thanks a lot for your help,

    Here is the adress of image : `https://www.domain.fr/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=imgedit-preview&_ajax_nonce=45646fd3b8&postid=1507&rand=28442′

    I can give u real URL with domain if necessary, and an access if you want to see the admin page.

    Thanks again

    And yes, same thing with IE, FF and Chrome

    @mediacleg – Could you try with the latest version?

    Thanks!

    Hello, same thing with this version, sorry…

    I have same problem in WordPress 3.4.2 version. I tried in all browsers (ie, firefox, chrom), disabled all plugins and i have simple catch theme with no EMPTY LINES. Pleas help if somebody knew what’s the catch to not showing the full future for edit.
    Thanks!
