• So I’m looking for a method that allows the custom cropping of the Featured Image of various pages and posts on a site I’m devving.

The Post Thumbnail Editor plugin does exactly what I need it to do, but it feels like there’s some extra steps in the process, things I’d like to see if they can be streamlined.

    1) Is there a way to change the default aspect ratio in the cropping options? The preferred setting would be 0, because then the user can make the image any size rectangle they want.

    2) Is there a way to set a default image size. They only need to be able to make these crops on the Featured Image, so I’d love it if I could force it to always have that custom image size checked.

    3) Is there a way to have the Crop and Save box checked all the time, so that it eliminates the preview step and just saves the image?

If these things cannot be done, is there another plugin/method that others would suggest as a means to allow the entry of custom cropped featured images besides running them through Photoshop?
