[Plugin: Post Teaser] Incorrect word counts and minutes

I just installed post teaser and it looks like its exactly what I want, however its giving me incorrect information. For example, one post is listed as:
“April 2010”. Read the full post (2 words, 24 images, estimated 0 secs reading time)
The word count at the bottom of the edit box lists that it should be around 4548 words. The image count is correct but the is there a way to force it to recount the totals, or to count them correctly?
