Hi when uploading images with “Post Gallery” to a local WP instalation, i get an error when uloading:
    PHP Warning: fopen(https://localhost/irene/wp-content/plugins/post-gallery/uploads/1249053706_Fiskespill_kaptein.jpg)
I can see that the url is wrong because its suppused to have to portnumber included:
    https://localhost:8888/irene…
    Is this easy to fix?

    Regards
    Bonsak

  • Yeah, just to confirm I am having this exact problem too. Port number not included in localhost image lookup.

Nice plugin otherwise though. Just what i needed!

Fixed it by changin my Mamp port number settings to “Default ports”. Remeber to remove portnumbers from your blog url in the dashboard before you change your Mamp setting or your site will be unreachable.

Hi everyone, just wanted to note that Post Gallery has been deprecated in favor of Attachments which is a plugin aimed at the same goal, but uses WordPress’ built in Media Library to handle the assets, which should result in a much more stable plugin.
