    I ran into this problem as well. The fix for me was that I had to make sure that the order of my js files in my header.php file were correct.

    Check your theme’s header for the correct order.

    Did the re-ordering of the JS files solve the issue? If yes, where can I impact the order, since most of the files are loaded via wp_head.
