[Plugin: Post Author] Link to Custom Page for Multiple Authors

    I have downloaded your post author plugin and it works great. However, my blog will have multiple authors and I need to link each one to a custom page rather than the default author page that wordpress creates. Is there a way to do that? I know that on the options page for your plugin there is space to link to 1 custom URL but I will have 5-6 authors.

    Hey there,

    for now, it is not possible to use a variable, because there is not way to tell the plug-in what the different author URL’s would look like.

    Unless, we decided to go with WP author URL’s and just changed what’s before. I.e.:
    “wordpress_path/author/author-name” became
    “whateveryouwant” in the options page + “/author-name”

    This way, all you have to do is make sure that you either have matching pages or matching aliases to catch those URL’s and send them to the proper existing bio pages.

    Whould that work for you?
