[Plugin: Post Author Box] Disable on custom post types

  • This is a great plugin but I have a small problem I’d like to resolve. I want the author box to show up on posts but not on a custom post type I have added to a site. I have post as the only checked item in the Apply to section. Is there anyway to prevent the author box from showing up in my custom post type? Would be great if Apply to could also list each custom post type defined for a site so I could just check or uncheck it there.

    Yes, it is still a problem for me. Not sure how you intended this to behave, but in my case, it should not appear in posts under custom post type. Any way I can prevent it from showing there? If you are looking to update your plugin, it would be great if you could pull a list of the custom post types and have checkboxes for each of whether or not the post author box diplays on those particular custom post types.
