[Plugin: Portfolio Slideshow] No transition (fade) between images

Hi, I’ve installed the Portfolio Slideshow plugin Version 1.3.6
The gallery+slideshow works well, except that I get no fading (or ScrollHrz) transition between images, no matter what.
Would you happen to know why ? I use the Imbalance 2 theme.
A JS script matter ?
