[Plugin: Portfolio Slideshow] Issue with use in header

‘Portfolio Slideshow’ is the name of the plugin I am using. I have taken the code and transferred it into my header section as that is where I would like it to appear on each page (I’ve done it several times before without any issues).

For some reason it will only show up the first photo in the gallery (though I only have 2 at this stage) but it will not slide through to the second. Clicking through does not work either even though I have set it to progress through the slideshow upon clicking the image.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin multiple times (even removed the entire thing via FTP and re-uploaded a newly downloaded version) and still it’s not working. I’m suspecting it must be a clash with the theme but I’m not sure where.

I would really like to resolve this issue now as I have been mentioning it in another topic for over a month with no reply. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
