i have same problem–in fact to me it seems that the popularity contest statistics are WRONG. Popularity contest has chosen several obscure posts on our site as the most popular, citing over 1000 permalink views. When I click reset stats button nothing appears to happen to my statistics! Am using w-popularity rather than popularity contest because of post 2.5 fatal error, but it is based on pop contest code and appears identical to pop contest in appearance and in fact statistics carried over from when i was using popularity contest (same posts listed as most popular). Slimstat lists permalink views for one post as 1,100 but popularity contest does not show that stat for that post–does not even list that post as among most popular for permalink views. What is going on?
