[Plugin: Pods CMS Framework] Installing Pods outside of WP Content folder
-
Hi,
I have moved my wp-content folder outside of the main wordpress folder and retitled it ‘resources’. The resources folder contains folders for my plugins and themes. I tried adding the pods plugin to my ‘plugins’ folder but when I then activated the plugin I wasn’t able to create any new pods. The ‘add new pod’ functionality just didn’t work.
I then did a clean install of wordpress and added the pods plugin to the plugins folder within the wp-content folder within wordpress and it worked perfectly.
Is it possible to move the pods plugin to other plugins folder such as within my resources folder, or does the plugin need to sit within the ‘wp-content’ folder within wordpress?
Any help with this would be much appreciated.
