    Hi,

please try “Blog/Podcast title: Use Global”. “MeetItalia ? Travel Phrases” is the “Global” feed title for this category feed.

If I use Blog/Podcast title Use category name. Both “Travel Phrases” disappear from the title.

If you choose this setting then the <title> should be “Travel Phrases”. I have trouble to reproduce this behaviour in my test blogs. But I have modified that part of the plugin a little bit and it may work now.
All the recent modifications are in the Development Version (8.8.10.7 beta 2). That version includes also a patch for the “validate your feed” button.

I would appreciate it very much if you could try this version.

    Thank you for your report.

    Regards,
    Tim

I’m trying to update to 8.8.10.7, but using the update function on the site, the plug in got deactivated, I’m trying manually now.
Will let you know if I get the double category name sorted out.
    Thank you

Ok all updated to 8.8.10.7. Feed validator works perfectly.

Here are some of the tests I’ve done regarding the feed naming:

If I use Blog/Podcast title Use global
The iTunes Directory preview shows only MeetItalia, but the feed correctly shows MeetItalia ? Travel Phrases

If I use Blog/Podcast title Append category name
The iTunes Directory preview shows MeetItalia Travel Phrases, but the feed then shows MeetItalia ? Travel Phrases ? Travel Phrases
Considering that the iTunes store actual page https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/id436573382
Shows the name twice in this last case. Maybe the iTunes Directory preview is not showing all the elements that will eventually be displayed, in this case the second ? Travel Phrases.

I’ll try using Global and wait for iTunes store to update.

Yes, please, do that. It is possible that the iTunes Directory preview does not work right. This is a very old part of the plugin and I have not had the time to update it. That is also why it is hidden by default. It has still the old iTunes store page layout.

However, tanks for reporting this discrepancy. I will correct that.

The iTunes Directory preview had a bug which will be fixed in 8.8.10.8. I have renamed two of these options for the title of the category feed. Further it will be possible to use the Site Title as the title of such a feed.
