    Hi, can you post a link where i can see the issue or use pastebin.com to publish the html code ? This forum made a mess out of it.

    Well,
    in fact it definitely looks like this. I haven’t the original source anymore, but it was like
    <a href="mailto:<span title=">email(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)domian">email@domain</a>

    In your example, the email address is missing a TLD extension.
    If your email address is not in a valid format, there is no chance the regex can take that into account.

    of course i didn’t use “email@domain” in particular but a real and valid mail addresss.
