Plugin picks CDN URL for image which causes an error

on single posts, I have picked Article > BlogPosting
The image picks up the CDN URL ( probably the default behaviour ) but in my case, the CDN URLs are not accepted as valid input as they have some URL parameters at the end https://i2.wp.com/codemyui.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Round-Expand-On-Hover-Breadcrumbs.gif?fit=880%2C440&ssl=1
is there any known workaround?
