[Plugin: phpbb_recent_topics] Post recent Topics for a specific forum

I;ve used the phpBB_recent plugin in my wordpress and it works perfectly and i would like to know if it is possible to post recent topics from a specfic forum subject and how to do it?

Please can you explain further?

Would you not be better off using the WordPress standard tools?

(1) Create a link category of “highlighted phpbb threads”
(2) Add three or four links to that category, which you manually add to over time.
(3) Use the built-in links widget to show only the “highlighted” category.
