• Hey guys, I have 2 wordpress blogs sharing the same user database and I would like to have my PHPBB instllation(also sharing the same database) use the users from my wordpress installations.

I installed and configured PHP BB options and everything seems fine:

    auth_wpbb.php 0.7.1 0.7.1 OK
    common.php 0.7.1 0.7.1 OK
    common-orig.php - Original OK
    Configurations
    Auth Mode wpbb wpbb OK
    Wordpress Path Variable ideviceblogr/ OK

But now when I try to log into my admin panel on PHPBB I get tons of errors and the admin panel doesn’t even show up:

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /home7/iphoneb1/public_html/wp-content/themes/therapy/includes/theme-widgets.php on line 8: Use of undefined constant woothemes - assumed 'woothemes'
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /home7/iphoneb1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-ban/wp-ban.php on line 108: Undefined offset: 1
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/auth/auth_wpbb.php on line 14: Undefined index: mode
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /adm/index.php on line 150: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3706)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /adm/index.php on line 152: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3706)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /adm/index.php on line 153: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3706)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /adm/index.php on line 154: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/functions.php:3706)

The problems go away if I delete common.php and rename common-orig.php back to common.php but then obviously the plugin doesnt work…. any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

  • hi, you can try delete all lines under first <?php and all lines after last ?>. But it’s errors can be after you editing common.php or other files with notepad or others programs who can change coding and add the BOM (byte order mark). For view it use notepad++ or others programmers notepads.

And view all plugin files for BOM.
