    Hello there!

I’ve seen the same error show up for others, and even using all the advice they were given, myself, I still get the error.

Fatal error: Call to a member function main() on a non-object in /home/user/public_html/site/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1452

Everything else seems to have gone perfectly, this ONLY happens when I upload the phpbb-single-sign-on common.php file. All other things are good-to-go. (minus the auth-type, because I can’t save it due to this error, but after fixing this, I think it’ll be cleared up *fingers crossed*)

I’ve looked through all other topics on here and on the plugin-site, and can’t find a fix for it. If anyone could help me figure out as to why the ‘common.php’ file is erroring it all out, I’d appreciate it!

I’m running the latest version of phpBB, by the way.

    Thanks!

Just for an update, I just finished upgrading to the latest version and am still getting the same error. ?? Seems common.php just doesn’t want to work for me.. All else works.

Okay, I got past this. Here’s how I did it, for any who might need to know later. I’m not sure it’ll work for you, but it should.

I went to my phpBB admininstration > Client Communications and changed my ‘WordPress Path’ again. I was trying to set it up to point backwards from the forum to my blog, but instead it asks for the path from the base of your domain, NOT down from your forum if you have it setup as I do. (domain.com/blog and domain.com/blog/forum)

Anyway, this topic can be closed if anyone would like.

DaxHorror..YOU ARE A STAR! just had the same problem, not fixed. thanks!
