[Plugin: PhotoSmash Galleries] Duplicate galeries

I am experiencing a strange problem. Photosmash works perfectly on the index page and on the archive section but on single posts when using single.php it shows “duplicate gallery: X”.

I have experience using photosmash, I been using it for 2 years and I understand about the auto-add galleries option on the settings menu, which is not being used. All I am using is [photosmash id=X] on every post that I want a gallery.

I have disabled all plugins (except photosmash!) and the problem is still there.
I have used the on single.php just the_content() in case something else was conflicting and the problem is still there.
I tried to take [photosmash id=X] from the post to see if the duplicate would disappear, but them I get neither error or gallery, meaning that is the same shortcode in the post that is being duplicated and not the one from the post + another one being loaded from somewhere else.
I have tried different themes and the outcome is still the same.

Well that is it, if anyone could help it would be more than appreciated.
