[Plugin: PhotoSmash Galleries] Another plugin that offers the same functionality

I also had a deep hard look at plugins similar to this but nothing comes close. Photosmash works great for me – I could not find any defect as yet. It is just that the plugin author is p-off with freeloaders that do not appreciate his hard work.

True the instructions could be better, but it is a very advanced plugin and difficult concept to explain. Spend a day or so to learn how this work – you’ll be amazed at what you can do.

Alternativaly you may want to look at:

• Quick Post Widget
• Inline Upload
• TDO Mini Forms (Also no longer supported)

These plugins offer moderation of new posts – or you can use WordPress “Contributor” role, you’ll just have to run “GD Star Rating” as a seperate plugin to allow for user rating of posts.

Thanks for your reply. I will investigate the other plugins.

I can understand and appreciate the author’s frustration. I am sure it must be very disheartening to spend your own personal time and effort to build something original, only to have people criticise your work because it isn’t perfect out of the box and they don’t want to make the effort to help get it running.

I also looked long and hard, and glad I found this.

I’ve played around with it, and it looks awesome.

1 thing… can users upload multiple pics, or is it just one pic at a time?
