• Hi!

    I’m the head of the photo-web-development group at Kvarteret in Bergen, a student cultural provider organization.
    We are currently redoing our web-site, and want to automatic post new galleries from Smugmug to wordpress when new albums occurs.

    We will base the plugin on photonic, and are wondering:
    – Do you plan for such functionality?
    – We would very much like to collaborate / contribute with an implementation.

    If it is planned, we might join forces with you. If not, we might contribute our forked-solution with you, so that many more can benefit from such an functionality.

    – Robin, head of Kvarterets photo-web-dev-team ??

    If I understand your requirement correctly such a functionality already exists: https://aquoid.com/news/plugins/photonic/smugmug/smugmug-albums/. Depending on what you have on your profile, the albums are dynamically pulled.

    Thanks for superquick answer ;)!

    It is not a “get all albums in one post” we are seaking;
    it’s more a “Get a new album as a new post in wordpress, when they are added to smugmug”.

    Or did I misunderstand the functionality of what you descripe within that link?

    Well, that would be more of a SmugMug plugin rather than a WP plugin. You are attempting to publish a new post in WP from SmugMug. That isn’t in my scope of planned development.

    You are welcome to fork the plugin if you think it will help, but my understanding is that there is nothing in this plugin that will help you do this.
