• My end goal with this plugin is to use it on one page (preferably domain.com/donate). so i am confused over campaigns vs causes.

is there a wa to make this simple? and to also cut out the middle slug (for causes or campaigns?)
which one should i use? it seems like i can not enter data into a cause, only into a campaign, which requires a cause?

sorry, i bit confused here, would appreciate anyone that could clear it up and give some steps how to use this on a simple webpage.

    thanks!!

You need both a cause and a campaign. The idea is that the cause is the template used to create multiple campaigns. You use the cause to create the general look of your campaigns. Once you have create a cause, you can create a campaign based on that cause by either navigating to the cause page (eg /causes/sample-cause/) or by selecting Campaigns from the Admin Dashboard menu.

As far as cutting out the slug, you could try changing the personal fundraising settings and changing the cause and campaign slugs to be empty, but I have not tested this and I am not sure what other impacts that may have.
