Plugin performance slow

    Hi I am using participants database for a simple email registration but the confirmation page performance is really slow to return a page.

    The computing function to generate the page is tiny and there is no load on the server at all.

    I assume the page is waiting for something to timeout or something. Is there a bug or a bad configuration I have made for the plugin?

    The other pages load quickly without delay

    I tested this, and it does take several seconds to load, looking at the network activity, it does appear to be WordPress that is slow to begin output. I can’t say specifically what the holdup is, the plugin isn’t doing anything intensive at that point, and this isn’t a complaint I’ve received before. You could try asking your web host to see if they can identify which script is taking a long time.

    I’ve tried twenty sixteen as a test and the performance was the same, switched back to twenty seventeen and now its super fast!!!!

    No idea what the bug was but it’s gone
