• Hi,

This plugin was a life-saver for me! Using it with a HTML5 mp3 player to have a different player on different pages.

However, I found out that it doesn’t keep the data if I change theme, even coming back to a former theme used. I’m concerned of doing massive work using it, and realize everything is gone once I update WordPress or the theme in the future.

Any way to secure the retention of settings and data cross updates?

    Thank you!

    Andre

  • Same problem. I have multiple backups at two-day intervals for a client but I cannot figure out where the sidebar data has gone to. 60+ custom sidebars and I hope I don’t have to try to re-create them… otherwise I will need to find a different solution.

I was doing some search-and-replace just now to fix accented characters that got corrupted, and I glimpsed the data I am looking for in the table wp_ax_sidebar

How can I reattach this data to my PPS widgets?

Failing a global way to do this, if you could point me to a resource that would let me dump out that SQL table to a text file, it would be easier to chop it all up than to re-enter it.
