• As soon as I use the plugin and publish an error mesage appears in IE 7

“Internet Explorer cannot open Internetsite http:mdsmarkets.com/blog” “Operation aborted” The window shuts down. It works OK in firefox. The only change I made to the setings was to add a image in the global setting in options.

I have had to take it down. Any ideas on how to tweak this?

  • An “image” means the flashvar named image? I could not reproduce the error. Hmm…

Same problem when I enable the slimbox option. work fine on safari, camino osx, firefox win but with IE7 I got this: “Internet Explorer cannot open Internetsite http:www….” “Operation aborted”.

    .

Would be nice if you could give me a link to your site where the error occurs.

I had this error happen to me with some sfobject.js stuff (not this plugin). Someone told me it happens “when you try to modify the DOM before the page has finished loading”. Does it make sense to you?

In fact, I started using pb-embedFlash because of this very issue: I traced it down to the YouTube embed code.

All I know is that the “Internet Explorer Cannot Open the Internet Site …” error occurs on javascript loading inside or in children of the body tag.

As far as no one gives me an url to/source code of a site with such a problem, I cannot do anything to solve it – because I couldn’t reproduce the error yet.
