[Plugin: Password Protected] Feature Request: Login attempt & IP logging

Thanks a lot for this simple but mighty plugin!
I have one or two possible ideas for enhancement …Is it possible to implement “Limit login attempts” feature like in this plugin and after for example 3 wrong attempts blocked access to the site and send email to admin with IP adress of this unauthorized connection?
