The Database Fields selections on the far-right of the Manage Database Fields screen are not showing fully, and are not usable. Is there a fix for this? I have a screen-shot if you can tell me how to get it to you.

    Hi,

The issue of the columns not displaying is due to my using some fancy CSS to get everything on the screen. I’m learning that it doesn’t play well with older browsers, so I need to make some changes to get it working for everybody. Until I can issue a fix, all I can suggest is you try a different browser (the latest Chrome or Firefox). I know it’s annoying to be asked to upgrade…but I will need a little time to fix this.

Now, your first question: this is probably because those fields are set to display in the signup form. Now because of your second issue, you may not be able to see it because it’s in the far eight column on the manage fields page.

Again, my fix will help you, but it won’t be for a day or so that I issue it.

UPDATE: If you upgrade the plugin, it will most likely fix your issue with the columns not displaying very well.

OK, I installed the most recent update today to Version 0.9.3. and the 5 columns on the right are still not showing.
    Is this the latest version?

By the way. I am using the latest versions of Chrome (16) and Firefox (5.0).

Yes, Chrome is giving me some trouble, and I think I have a fix for it.

These are updates to the manage fields page you should upload to your participants-database plugin directory. I will be issuing another update later today, but this will fix your page right away:

OK I uploaded manage_fields.php, and now nothing shows when I go to the Manage Fields. I mean it is completely blank!
I deactivated, deleted and re-installed the plugin and I still have a blank page when I go to Manage Fields.

I love this Plugin, I really want it to work. I am using it to manage volunteers in my Church and there is no other Plugin that even comes close to this. So let’s get this right. What do I need to do now?

    Hi Simpsonpw,

Looks like I made a mistake. If you would either re-install the plugin (as you did before) or upload this file to replace the file of the same name you should be up again.

    Great! That worked.

This is a really great plugin, thank you. Trying to use the new filter feature when listing database info but can’t seem to get it working. Where do I need to put the filter?
I have this in a page but it shows all records.
    [pdb_list] [pdb_record filter=’gender=Male’]

Also, is it possible somewhere to reset the ID to 1?

    @martinahawkins

All you need is this: [pdb_list filter=’gender=Male’]

I guess there was some confusion in the documentation.

I am having a similar problem, a blank admin page.

List Participants, Manage Fields, etc., all work, but the Add Participant tab/page is BLANK. We cannot add new participants.

I updated to the latest version of the plugin today, still nothing.

The initial participants were uploaded from a CSV file, but now we want to add individually. I feel like before we did the upload, we had the Add Participant tab working ok, but that was a previous version of the plugin, we’ve upgraded 1-2 times since then.

did you try deavtivating/activating the plugin? Sometimes just upgrading doesn’t set all the changes to the database.

Thanks but I already tried that, too! And I just deactivated and reactivated again, just to check, nope… Add Participants is still blank.

I was wondering how you solved this. My “Add Participant’ tab/page is also blank. I also imported stuff with CSV. Was that related?
