[Plugin: Participants Database] Email and URL fields

There is a setting called “Make Links Clickable” that will do this for URLs and email addresses. The field type has to be “text-line.”

Great plugin, very nice options and features!

I have a minor problem, if someone registers no confirmation email to that user and to myself is sent. I have checked the checkboxes in the signup options and also sent a test email with the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin, but still no emails.

Any idea what i could do?

If you’ve got SMTP working, then I’m not sure what the problem could be. I assume you’ve made sure your test emails are not getting blocked by a spam filter and that all the email settings are correct.

You don’t say whether the record gets saved to the database…if it doesn’t, that’s an indication that some kind of error is happening before the plugin can send the email. If you can, I would suggest turning on the WP_DEBUG switch in your wp-config.php (you may not want to do this with a live site!) to see if there is an error in the plugin. Also, try temporarily disabling other plugins in case one is preventing the email from being sent.
