[Plugin: Paid Memberships Pro] Members are being duplicate please help!

Just installed the new version, and for some reason (which i think has to do with the new multiple membership type features), when a member switches membership levels, from free to paid for example, instead of switching them, it adds them to both.

In the members panel i see the same person twice, under each membership type. This is screwing up the content I set up to only show certain member levels and even the email that is sent out to them.

Could you please help asap, right now if a member upgrades their account, it basically breaks several pages and sends a broken email.
