I checked the changelog and found this:

Protected blog posts will no longer appear in RSS feeds

I understand the basic need for covering that specific area but must we dot it out completely?

Is there a way for HTTP Auth with this plugin? Or maybe have protected posts appear with the access denied message instead of the protected post content? I guess what I am trying to get at is a way for readers to still use RSS and be notified when there’s a new post, protected or otherwise, without having to visit the site itself.

This would of course include comment feeds.

And not to sound bad but thank you for making this plugin. :> I just want it to be the best it’s able to be.

This is already implemented in 1.2 (not yet released). Essentially, we’ve added options for toggling on/off menu & rss filters.

I’ve just returned from a 2-week vacation and work is piled up, so hopefully we’ll be able to get 1.2 out in mid-October.
