[Plugin: Page Security by Contexture] Menu Item for restricted category

  • Hi,
    The contexture-page-security plugin is awesome and exactly suits my needs. Thanks for developing such a wonderful plugin.

    When I create a page and restrict access of that page, the menu entry created for that page is also hidden from the users who do not have access to that page. This works exactly how I want it.

    However, I have a few categories displayed as menu entries. When I restrict access for a particular category, all posts under that category is hidden from the users who do not have access to that category, but the menu entry is still visible (unlike page).

    Is there any way to hide the category menu items as well?

    I’m looking into this. I suspect it has something to do with subtle changes to WordPress core. I’m releasing an update tonight. If I can figure out the problem in time, I’ll push it with tonights update – otherwise I’ll make sure it’s taken care of in the next release.
