[Plugin: Page Links To] Opening PDF files In New Window

Hello,
I am using the Page Links To plugin to open a mix of external links and links to single PDF files from this page:https://anouk.allwellstudio.com/press/
The PDF links are not opening in a new window but normal external links are.
Has anyone had this issue or know of a work around?
Any help would be great
