• Hello,

I recently made a clean install of wordpress 2.8.5. Even with the default plugins disabled, I still cannot access the plugins page on the dashboard (the page to activate/deactivate plugins). PHP memory limit on server is set the 64MB so that shouldn’t be the problem.

I’d really appreciate any help available. Thanks a lot!

  • Hi,

There should be an issue due to the plugin. From FTP rename the plugin directory and disable all the plugins and enable it one by one to find out the culprit.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

    Hello,

Thanks for your suggestion, but I made a clean install of wordpress. No plugins installed. I even deleted all the default plugins. The plugins page still does not work :/

    Any more suggestions?
    Thanks!

I’d probably delete and re-upload the wp-admin and wp-includes folders, then do the same with the files in the root directory (minus the wp-config.php file).

Report back if still no joy.

yep, just tried that. No go too >.<

    Any other suggestions? Thanks (:

Ok, well it’s likely a PHP error.
Can you get access to your server error logs?

I’m not sure, I only have cpanel access. Any instructions on how to go about viewing the logs?

    Thanks for your help!
