Hello. I downloaded the P3 plugin to evaluate the other plugins on my site. When I went to activate the plugin, I received the following error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24576 bytes) in D:\Hosting\9030440\html\blog\wp-admin\includes\misc.php on line 290

You can view the front end of the blog, but I can’t access the dashboard. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi PeteMinde,

To fix your site immediately, please remove P3 by removing or renaming the following files and folders via FTP:

    • wp-content/plugins/p3-profiler (the whole folder)
    • wp-content/mu-plugins/p3-profiler.php (if it exists)

Your site was probably running very close to the 32M memory limit you had set. When you activated P3, it pushed it just over the limit and this error happened. Removing P3 should fix the error right now. For the long term, consider raising the memory limit.
