Plugin overloading MYSQL Server.

  • Hi,
    I am using this plugin from past 1 year but today somehow it started causing problem for my website to load.

    If i see my MYSQL queries i see these queries stuck:-

    STATE:-
    Copying to tmp table

    INFO:-
    SELECT DISTINCT wp_posts.*, (t1.meta_value+0.00) AS ratings_average, (t2.meta_value+0.00) AS ratings

    As soon as i disable the plugin the queries finish and my server is no more overloaded and site loads in proper speed.

    Can you kindly suggest what can be the issue here.

    I don think it will suddenly cause it to overload. Did you recently use any more plugins to add on to the load? Disable some plugins but leave PostRatings activated?

    You may want to use some form of caching like W3 Total Cache or WP-SuperCache.
