Plugin Organizer is not working with Simple Press anymore

    I can confirm that this plugin is not working as it used to. My Simple Press is now all of a sudden showing ads on all forum pages, which it shouldn’t, because I disabled the plugin for showing ads long time ago. All the other plugins I disabled on the forum pages (and all child pages) are also enabled now and I can’t turn them off.

    I have tried removing and reinstalling Plugin Organizer and playing around with the settings, but nothing works.

    I hope you get it fixed soon because this plugin is really one-of-a-kind.

    So did you check the plugin filters (used to be url admin) and posts/pages to see that everything was still enabled/disabled as before and it wasn’t working on the front end?

    Also did you check that the settings were still the same on the main settings page and global plugins?

    I have checked all of that and everything is like before. I should note that I can disable plugins on all other pages than in the forum, so maybe the problem is with child pages as the forum posts are located under /forum/”topicname”.

    I would asume that everyone running a forum is having this problem. What say you Jeff, have you tested the new version with Simple Press or another forum?

    You are correct elpju. I have just released version 3.0.1 that fixes the fuzzy url matching. It wasn’t working because there was a ” character being added to the url so it would never match. I had tested the functionality before but apparently should have tested it a few more times before releasing. The new version also comments out the code that deletes the database tables. I’ll add something later to delete them if they still exist. It will still only import your settings once.

    That fixed the problem! Thank you for excellent support, this plugin really is a must-have.
