Plugin or How to Add category labels on top of thumbnails?

    I’m not aware of any plugins to do that (definitely search the plugins listings), but it’s certainly possible by editing theme files and CSS. Not sure if that’s something you’re comfortable with doing or not.

    not really sure where to start, in that respect on how to connect the category overlaying on top of the image
