Plugin or Hack for forthcoming content?

    See, I like the idea of the recent posts plugin I will use it, but I’m also interested in a plugin which will state forthcoming…attractions/events/reviews/articles etc.

    Is there some way to do this?

    It shouldn’t be that difficult, though I can’t say for certain, perhaps a plugin which within the admin panel allows you to date an article event or some such that you intend to produce on the site. When the user views the page, he sees whatever it is, forthcoming attraction: new underwear for all coming soon

    Or someting to that effect – it doesn’t have to be underwear related, but I’m not fussy

    I did this as a category (well, ‘post type’ on CHAITGEAR, a secondary category) for Upcoming Reviews. It doesn’t give me a hard-set date the review is coming on (which is good), but allows people to see what is supposedly coming up. And I could do a random archives sidebar list from that post type to show some random listing of upcoming reviews. Should be able to tag an article with an extra category, or use metadata.

    But, if what you are looking for is some kind of embedded date different than the posted date, you probably want to use metadata and a really custom plugin… You’d want calendar-styled archives listings based off the meta-tag instead of the post date.
