  • Yes, the 4.1 that wordpress wants us to update to in the control panel if we do a manual install from your main site, it’s not working in chrome. If I install files from your main site, 4.0, it works. If I then update through admin in wordpress, it no longer works. If I deactivate and delete the files in admin, then upload the 4.0 files, it works, but still retains the settings from the previous install. I think this might be part of your problem. Not everything removes when deactivating and deleting files through admin.

And thanks brian for the plugin and replies. Now if I could only get it to work with g-lock opt in email plugin, it’d be great, but the author gives no way to point to the trigger on g-lock so I had to do a workaround for now. g-lock is all javascript.

I’m very glad to hear you have it working now.

We’ll see if it’s possible to remove all settings when uninstalling the plugin in the next version of the plugin.

So far this is the only issue I’ve heard of where it would be helpful.

If there’s anything else you need please just let me know.

    All the best!

Yeop, working, but not with the present files available in the wordpress update. Would be nice if THOSE files worked so I don’t have the plugin upgrade notice glaring at me in the admin area =)

I uploaded optinpop 4.1 but i get nothing. My website is https://www.boxingmemores.com
and the theme i use is the Twenty Ten 1.1
The setting for the pluig are:
    OptinPop Width 400
    OptinPop Height 400
    Show on Load (yes)
    Lightbox Effect (off)
    Show to a visitor (always)

Please give me a hand here…

    Thanks a lot
    D.

    Hi D

The problem with the plugin not working from www.remarpro.com has now been fixed.

    Everything should be working fine.

Just remove the plugin you’re using right now and re-install from the one you can download from here.

If you run up against any problems here’s a 7 part troubleshooting guide you might find useful…

Hi Piotr – thanks for your message about OptinPop not working. What was the problem exactly? unfortunately you didn’t say.

There are known issue of compatibility problems with poorly coded plugins and themes that use the JQuery library as I’ve mentioned before.

If you’ve got a free plugin or theme that’s uses JQuery is still in beta or a very low version number it’s likely that’s the cause.

Our code has been extensively tested and complies fully with WordPress standards.

    All the best!

    Brian
