• Hi.

    I’ve had the plugin installed for a few days now after having it installed and tested on our test site on the sub domain. However the backup hasn’t completed once, each time I get (roughly) the following error;

    A filesystem operation failed while processing ‘Filesystem/home2/website/public_html/media/2010/11/smackdownvsraw1-300×200.jpg’ (26473) for backup.
    If the following error message is not clear as to the problem and the issue persists, please contact support providing the complete event log for the activity. Diagnostic information follows:

    Failed at: 1160(/home2/website/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wponlinebackup/include/files.php)
    Attempt to write to file /home2/website/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wponlinebackup/tmp/backup.data.php only partially succeeded. Only 14009 of 24576 bytes were written. (1689176344 bytes already written.) PHP last error: No error message was logged.

    Can anyone advise why please?

    Hi Gamedot,

    This is a very very big blog as that is over 1.6 GB. This will be far too much to send to the online vault as it has a 100 MB limit. The reason for the failure will most likely be due to disk space or a file size limit on your server.

    Have you tried excluding some folders to bring the size down? If you email your username to [email protected] they might be able to increase the quota a bit for you. But it won’t be increasable to 1GB.

    Excluding some things you don’t need backed up is the best way to go.

    Jason
