[Plugin: Online Backup for WordPress] File system error causing backup failure

    I’m trying to backup https://www.chrishollier.com. You were kind enough to increase the avaiable capacity for this backup however I’m now getting a filesystem operation problem which I’ve posted below. You help would be much appreciated.

    Hi Mary,

    How big is that file? It looks to be in excess of 500MB. You may need to exclude it from backup.

    I can’t find the size of the file but am I believe it was about 550mb. Does this make it too large to backup to your server or can you increase the capacity for this blog to 600mb?

    I also contacted you about another wordpress blog https://www.alexanderdaniels.co.uk which is also failing to backup, so its size is 345mb so it should be within capacity. I get this error message…The backup failed: Communication with the online vault failed. An online request succeeded but was malformed. – I tried pasting the (very long) error log in another post but when I went back to check on it, I couldn’t see it, hence why I’m mentioning it here. I’m wondering if it would be better if I sent it as an attachment?

    Hi Mary,

    I won’t be able to get the quota increased anymore definitely so you’ll have to exclude that file.

    For the other blog with the communication failure, I’ll check through logs tomorrow see if anything shows and we can move on from there. So I’ll update again tomorrow after I’ve looked.
