    Hi PodcastSteve,

Try the latest version and see if it helps.
You may just have a very large file somewhere which is difficult to process using PHP.

If you still have issues look at the event log as it sometimes gives more information into the problem that we can use to help you or improve the plugin.

    Thanks,

    Jason.

Just to be sure, I reinstalled the plugin, I already had 2.1.0. Here’s the error from my Activity Log. I can see there’s something wrong in the database, but not exactly sure what to do to fix it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    A database operation failed.
Please try reinstalling the plugin – in most cases this will repair the database.
Please contact support if the issue persists, providing the complete event log for the activity. Diagnostic information follows:

    Hi PodcastSteve,

What version of WordPress are you running, and what version of PHP (if you know this)?
Are you running any database plugins in WordPress too at all?

    Jason.

I did a little deletion of some large folders that are unrelated to my WordPress installation, and I deselected “File System” from the backup. Now the backup completed, but I get an error message saying that the site sent “junk” to the backup server and it failed again.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi PodcastSteve,

This can sometimes be another plugin modifying data coming out of your WordPress site, not just the actual site itself but also the backup data.

Try disabling some plugins to see if any are conflicting.

There has been reports that the latest 1.1 (I think) version of WordPress SEO has begun conflicting. So if you have that try disabling it and trying again.

    Jason.
