I’m using MailPoet (MailPoet Free version: 3.59.0) in the language I use on wordpress, Catalan. The plugin is translated and all the menus are shown in Catalan.

The problem is that the emails sent identy the mail as sent in english (“en”). For most of the people shouldn’t make a difference, but one of my (few) subscribers is blind and the text although in catalan is read as if it was english

Is there any way to change the language encoding of the email to be sent on the language the plugin is using?

    Thank you!

  • Hi!

Just to be sure that I understood your question, what you’d need to change for the reader to pronounce correctly is the HTML encoding?

So instead of “en”, should be “ca”?

Hi, dromero20, yes, that is correct. I’m using “ca” on wordpress, and the plugin is translated in this language, but the mail sent uses “en” encoding.

    Hi there @ambcompte,

Thanks for getting back to us!

I can replicate the same issue on my test site. I will discuss it with our developers and will get back to you.

    Cheers!

    Hi there @ambcompte,

I can confirm that it’s hardcoded and can’t be changed at the moment.

I logged it for our developers as an Enhancement request, but we don’t have any ETA for its implementation.

    Thank you for reporting it!
