I’ve used the AR for WordPress plugin for over a year with no problems. This is for a site running Elementor. However, I had to deactivate multiple plugins on my site this past week. When I reactivated the AR for WordPress plugin, my site would no longer load. The browser page appears blank. I ruled out plugin conflict by deactivating everything except AR for WordPress and the Elementor plugin. It’s only happening when AR for WordPress is activated. Is it possibly related to the recent plugin update? Does AR for WordPress now only work for paid accounts? Is there a way for me to troubleshoot this on my own? I can’t leave the plugin active right now because I need the site to be up and available.

Sorry you are having troubles with the AR plugin. Would it be possible to obtain a temporary admin login to your site so we can investigate the issue further? You can send the login details to [email protected]

    kind regards

Sorry, but I can’t provide that level of access. I can private message or email you code details and screenshots if needed.

Okay! Where should I check for this? The only thing I see is that I have an Elementor website and when I turn on the AR plugin, the browser won’t load the webpage. Could this be due to the most recent update?

Please try the suggestions at this site to turn on error logging so we can identify the cause https://www.wpxpo.com/how-to-enable-error-reporting-in-wordpress/

I don’t think any recent changes in the plugin would cause the issue but the error logs will help identify the reason.

it is getting late here so I will investigate further tomorrow once I have your error details.

I’m now able to load the site with the plugin enabled, but I’m getting an “AR Display License Required” message where my model used to appear. How can I fix this?

Please try resaving the plugin settings page.

It didn’t work. I’m still seeing the error message. With the current version, must I have a license key even if I use the plugin for free? If so, where do you get a license key for the free version?

You are best of using a paid subscription from https://augmentedrealityplugins.com as the free version is limited in its functionality and number of models. If you email me directly I can provide you with a 1 month trial licence you can use for free.

Thank you. I might do that down the road. For now, I prefer to keep using the free version. Am I supposed to be receiving this message with the free version, or is this an error? How many models is the free version limited to using?

This is an error. I am unsure why without admin access.

I am away from my office until later next week when I plan to release an update to the plugin with improvements to the licence check system and the free version.

    Apologies for the issues.

Just checking back in about this update. Once it’s available, should I just install the update, or should I delete and reinstall the plugin? Any other steps I need to take with the free version to stop seeing this message?

I Have just released v3.5 of the plugins, please simply update it to the latest version on your plugins page.

This should give you feedback as to why your free version is not working.

I deleted all models, deleted the plugin, reinstalled the plugin, and still get the message that I have too many models, even though I have no models now.

Ok, I have modified the plugin scripts, please deactivate and delete the plugin, then reinstall it from the WordPress plugin repository.
